Owning and operating a full time business as a makeup artist in Sydney since December 2004, specializing mainly in the bridal industry and averaging 100 brides each year, Amanda La Monica said she wanted to create a product that would easily and quickly achieve everything her clients were asking for.
"Brides (as well as many women every day) want to look natural without looking like their makeup is layered on thick, they also want a flawless finish that lasts the duration of the day. They want to feel and look naturally beautiful with little effort. LaGlam cosmetics achieve all of this and because they’re 100% mineral it does not sacrifice the health of the clients skin. It also has a high protection sunscreen of SPF20+ within the foundation", La Monica said.
Mineral makeup controls excess oil and shine and it is water resistant so your makeup doesn’t slide off your face in the heat. It produces radiance rather than shine while softening out lines and evening skin tone. The texture is made for sheer coverage which can be built upon to your desired coverage or even applied wet for those that like more coverage.
The range was created in response to requests from La Monica’s clients: "They wanted to buy the products for themselves –the feedback received is amazing", La Monica said. The comments people received from their friends, family and work colleagues when changing their brand of makeup to LaGlam minerals made them feel as beautiful as they look.
